Columban Missionaries in association with
The University of Wales, Lampeter
Offer the following degree programmes on a part-time basis,
beginning September each year...
MA in Ecology and Religion
Post-Graduate Diploma in Ecology and Religion
Why this degree programme?
During the past few years it has become evident to many people that if the human community continues to abuse the environment, future generations will be forced to live on a ruined planet.
In January 2001, Pope John Paul called for an “ecological conversion” in order to avoid catastrophe.
The programme is designed to help us understand and respond to what is happening to our world in the light of Christian faith.
Venue:
The modules will be taught at St Columban's, Dalgan Park, Navan, Co Meath during eight weekends each year.
One module is taught in the Burren Co Clare.
Dalgan Park is situated about 30 kilometres from Dublin on the N3 route.
Limited accommodation is available in Dalgan Park and lunch is provided for all students.
A library facility is available and students can borrow books to aid with their studies and essay writing. |
